Section 1 - Rescission Rights

As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract of purchase within 2 weeks in writing (for example by post, fax, or e-mail) or by sending back the object of purchases without stating any reasons. The time limit begins on receipt of the purchased object and on receipt of the rescission disclaimer which has to be communicated separately in writing. Timely posting of the rescission statement or the purchased object is sufficient to comply with the time limit. The rescission needs to be stated to:

Section 2 - Rescission Consequences

In case of a successful rescission both parties have to return everything already received and any further gains (for example interest) if obtained. If the Purchaser is unable to return the purchased object at all, or can only return it partly or in detoriated condition, he is obliged to compensate the loss insofar if applicable. This does not apply to permitted usage for testing purposes such as would occur in a shop. In general, depreciation can be avoided, if the Purchaser does not use the object as his property and refrains from any actions which could result in depreciation. Objects which may be shipped as a parcel have to be shipped back. The Purchaser has to pay for the cost of the return shipment if the correct item was delivered, should the price of the returned item be less than 63.65 USD*, or if the Purchaser withdraws from the purchase of pricier items before payment in full or part has been initiated. In all other cases we pay for the cost of return shipment. Objects which cannot be shipped as a parcel will be picked up. You have to comply with any repayment obligations within 30 days after sending your rescission statement.
